With Tremor approaching its 1,000 download milestone after only a little over 1 month,  I would like to feature some of the unique renditions. The theme is great out of the box AND as a blueprint and launching point to something greater. Like I stated in the themes launch post, I built this theme for my own blog but decided shortly after I should share it with everyone!

Kurt Hurst - What a unique version! He did a great job changing it from a three column to a two column and makes great use of the footer. Great job Kurt.

Treb Day Cobb - an extremely unique version - a tumble blog if you will. Another piece of great work.

Reading Bugs - Changed the theme to fit their needs, created a nice background and overall feel.

We are proud to release our first free WordPress theme for download! The theme is named Tremor, it is a three column widget ready theme. We went to a lot of hard work to release the theme so I hope you all enjoy it! Check it out in our Wordpress Theme section.

So one of the cooler Wordpress hacks is allowing the articles authors comments to be highlighted. This helps the authors suggestions and comments stick out from the rest, allowing a more useful discussion. Below are two methods of achieving this effect.

Finally I would like to welcome you to the new and vastly improved Quake Media. We pride ourselves on standards based websites with a purpose, and we want our own site to reflect the company goals and image. Please take a look around and let us know what you think!

A few features I would like to point out. First, this website is completely powered by our favorite CMS/Blogging software, Wordpress. Second, take a look at our blog! We will be blogging about topics in web design and multimedia as well as the other various topics. If you have a feed reader subscribe to our feed to get up to the date information! And last but not least, please let us know what you think. Your input only makes us better!

We here at Quake Media don’t like to twiddle our thumbs much so we have decided to work on a few new projects. We have 3 FREE Wordpress themes coming within the next few months and possibly a premium theme after that.

We are also collaborating with a few other designers for a Wordpress theme project. Our goal is to great as many great FREE themes as we can, as well as providing a premium theme or two for those who want to stick out of the crowd.
